This section describes trading procedures.

Changing the Position

All you basically do is update the position and proceed to the next day.

The two input fields displayed on the right side of the trade screen will be the number of balls. It is 0-0 at the start, with the sell ball on the left and the buy ball on the right.

The keys on the left side are assigned to the operation of the short sell position ball, and the keys on the right side are assigned to the operation of the long position.

For example, additon of short sell position by one is F, reduction of short sell position by one is D, additon of long position by one is J, reduction of long position by one is K.

Confirming the position by “Next” button or SPACE / ENTER key and the chart will be updated the next day and the unrealized gains and losses (UG) will be updated to match the new price.

The number of sell and buy balls will be displayed above and below the candlestick on the day you performed the operation.

The entry points are marked green, additions are marked orange, exit points are marked red, by default. The size of the arrow changes according to the number of changes made in the position.

Allotted Time

User will have the predetermined time limit to change the position, which is effective from the second move (second day). The number displayed to the right of the “Next” button is allotted time.

Timing

At-the-Close order, meaning a trade is executed at the close of the market.

Unit

The stock unit is 100 shares. For example, addition of position by 3 means buying 300 shares (3 X 100).

Allowance

It depends on the player’s Asset Points (AP) value, and you cannot put in a ball at a price higher than your AP. For example, if AP is 250,000 and the stock price is 800 yen, the maximum you can add is 3. If you add 3 and the purchase price is 300 X 800 yen, which is 240,000 yen, and the remaining AP is 10,000.

Unrealized Gain/Loss

The profit and loss of the ball you are holding is displayed as the player’s status UG (Unrealized Gain).

In the game mode where mentality is enabled, the amount of loss exceeding the mental defense (DF) will become damage, and the mental point (MP) will be reduced by that. The player must always be aware of the UG, while making trade operations.

Realized Gain/Loss

The profit and loss result when closing is displayed as PL (Profit and Loss).

In game modes where enemy characters appear, you can damage their mental points (MP) by the amount that exceeds the enemy character’s mental defense (DF).

Calculation of Profit and Loss

The contract price is managed for each open interest, and the profit and loss calculation is performed individually in order from the oldest contracted position. Take the following transactions as an example.

Price Position AP UG PL Remarks
600 0-0 1,000,000 0 0
600 0-2 880,000 0 0 Buy 200 shares
300 0-4 820,000 -60,000 0 Add 200 shares
500 0-4 820,000 20,000 0
500 0-2 920,000 40,000 -20,000 Sell 200 shares
500 0-1 970,000 20,000 0 Sell 300 shares
500 0-0 1,020,000 0 20,000 Sell 400 shares

Suppose that you first buy 200 shares of 600 yen stock at 0-2, and then buy 200 shares at 0-4 when the stock price reaches 300 yen. The valuation loss at this time is -60,000 yen.

After that, if the stock price becomes 500 yen, the total valuation profit and loss at this time will be 20,000 yen.

  • First 200 shares executed: (500 - 600) X 200 shares = -20,000 yen
  • 200 shares executed 2nd time: (500 - 300) X 200 shares = 40,000 yen

At this time, the profit and loss calculation when closing the ball is

  • If it is set to 0-2, the first 200 shares contracted will be closed, and the fixed profit/loss will be -20,000 yen and the valuation profit/loss will be 40,000 yen.
  • If it is set to 0-1, a total of 300 shares, the first 200 shares and the second 100 shares, will be closed, and the fixed profit/loss will be (500 yen - 600 yen) X 200 shares + (500 yen - 300 yen) X 100 shares = 0 yen and the unrealized gain/loss is (500 yen - 300 yen) X 100 shares = 20,000 yen.
  • If you close everything at 0-0, the valuation profit and loss at that time will be the fixed profit and loss, which is 20,000 yen.

Forced Liquidation

If the position is held when the trading period ends or player exhausts his/her mentality, the trade will be forced to close at the price at that time.
